Say hello to Katie Turner - the mastermind behind DVINE Experiences!

"We’re not just a bus; we’re your Fun Directors, crafting unforgettable memories in DVINE places with DVINE people – and you won’t pay extra for the seatbelt!”

What’s your business superpower?

Crafting seamless, all-inclusive experiences where every detail is thought of – so our guests can relax, sip, and soak up the moment, knowing we’ve got everything covered. We take the stress out of planning and put the joy back into travel.

How did your business journey begin? (Tell us the origin story!)

After 20+ years running service-based businesses and working as a digital strategy consultant, I realised my heart was in crafting memories, not just strategies.

DVINE Experiences was born out of combining that business acumen with my passion for creating moments that last a lifetime.

After moving to the Mid North Coast in 2023, a region close to my heart from childhood holidays with my grandfather, I knew this was the perfect place to build a business focused on connection, community, and experiences.

DVINE Experiences is the culmination of all my business knowledge + heart + love for this region – it’s my peace de résistance.

What’s one myth about your industry you wish you could bust?

That travel has to be expensive, stressful, and time-consuming.

At DVINE Experiences, we take the hassle out of planning – no more endless Googling for the best restaurants, bars, spas, or oyster spots. We’ve done the legwork and partnered with the best local businesses, so once you jump aboard, everything is taken care of.

It’s not just about the tour – we look after our guests for their entire stay in the region.

Everyone is a VIP – from the moment they join us, to the restaurant booking we’ve recommended, to the spa appointment we’ve secured.

We’re Fun Directors, not just tour guides, ensuring every detail is curated to make their experience effortless and unforgettable. Because travel should be about making memories – not stressing over the details.

What’s been your proudest business moment?

Seeing the DVINE dream come to life after moving to the Mid North Coast. Launching DVINE Experiences in both Port Macquarie & Coffs Harbour, and partnering with leading brands like Club Wyndham, has been incredibly rewarding, but the true pinch-me moment is seeing the positive ripple effect our business is having regionally.

We’ve had the privilege of partnering with Koala Conservation Australia to support their vital work in preserving our wildlife, and I’m proud to sit on the Board of Greater Tourism for the Mid North Coast, helping drive strategic growth and promote our incredible region.

What really makes me proud is that every time our DVINE bus is on the road, we’re doing more than just giving our guests an amazing day out – we’re driving business directly into the doors of our preferred partners, supporting local producers, cafes, wineries, and tourism operators.

It’s regional tourism done right – where everyone wins. Guests leave with memories, local businesses thrive, and we get to champion the Mid North Coast every single day.

Best piece of advice for fellow women in business?

Collaboration over competition – always! The magic happens when women lift each other up.

Don’t be afraid to reach out, ask for help, or bring others along for the ride.

Business is tough – it can feel lonely – but you’re never alone.

We’re all facing the same challenges.

Cash flow, staffing issues, burnout, marketing struggles – we’ve all been there.

No one’s path is without hurdles, and no one has it all figured out.

The more we share, the more we grow.

The next opportunity, solution, or breakthrough is often just one conversation away.

Lean into your network and lean on each other.

Also – forget the perfect work-life balance. It’s a juggle, and that’s okay. There are seasons when the business needs you more – and other times when family or life takes priority.

Discipline is what keeps it all moving.

For me, early mornings are key. I call it my Hour of Power – 5 am coffee, pen to paper, and a To-Do List. That one hour of clarity before the world wakes up keeps my business rolling forward.

Show up. Stay consistent. Lean on your people. That’s the game.
