Why did you join BWN and what do you love about it?

I've been working online for the last five years, but I missed the connection and collaboration of being part of a local community. I'm excited to join BWN Coffs Coast to help support (and be supported by) the incredible women in business I admire in our community.

How do you define success?

Success to me is when you find that you love what you do, and it no longer feels like work. Being in a position to support, mentor and raise other women is also a success indicator I value.

Which local women inspire you and why?

There are so many! Kim from The Happy Frog for the tireless work she puts into supporting the local community. Bridgette from Red Sparrow, the team at Kaleidoscope and Rosie Ross at Northside Health are also much admired.

What's the best piece of advice you can give our audience?

I believe that we are stronger together. Collaborate and support each other for a stronger community and thriving local economy. When we come from a place of collaboration rather than competition, we raise everyone.

What is your superpower?

Staying calm in stressful situations and helping make people around me feel safe and comfortable.

What do you love most about what you do?

Changing people's lives! As a naturopath, I am often the "last resort" for people experiencing health issues, and I love gently guiding and supporting clients from surviving to thriving. I genuinely believe that good health is our most important asset.
I'm also proud to be recognised as a leader in the area of natural health for migraine, and I have been invited as a guest on podcasts and speaking at events on this topic. As a migraine sufferer myself, I'm pretty passionate about this!
