Why did you join BWN and what do you love about it?

I decided to join BWN as it is a great opportunity to network with likeminded women and to lean on them for advice, whether that be personal or business, as I have just recently started my own business.

I love the philosophy of BWN as we need more women supporting and promoting other women. It is 2021 after all.

How do you define success?

I define success as having a client leave my office feeling a sense of relief, or clarity in their legal matter. I have used my skills as a lawyer to directly benefit someone in the community. That is the sole reason why I decided to become a lawyer.

Which local women inspire you and why?

I could not pin point one particular women who inspires me as I believe that it a collective group of women who are in business paving the way for other women to succeed and have the opportunity.

What's the best piece of advice you can give our audience?

Confidence is key. You are your best hype person and you need to believe in yourself in order to succeed. If you fail, keep going.

What is your superpower?

My superpower is having the ability to talk to General Managers of nationwide law firms and also vulnerable individuals, who are disadvantaged. I cannot stress how important communication is and I am so lucky to possess this strength.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love being able to help all people in the community. The law is going to affect a person at any given time in their life, whether that is buying or selling a property, dealing with your parent's estate, or needing to obtain a divorce. You are put into a position of trust by the client, and it is very fulfilling and rewarding when you are able to guide the client through the legal process.
