Kerry Grace has spent most of her career working across regional Australia at the intersection of economic development, social impact and community capability. Her work focuses on the point where conversation turns into action.
She is the founder of Social Impact in the Regions, a national conference built in regional Australia (starting in Coffs Harbour in 2023) for the people doing the work and those investing in it. Since its inception, the conference has contributed more than $1 million into host communities through event tourism, with each event generating at least $350,000 in local economic impact.
Kerry is also co-founder of Ready Communities, which strengthens the conditions that allow change to take hold and be sustained in regional places. Her broader body of work includes investing in housing in towns with critical worker shortages, writing Spiralling Up: A Guide for Accidental Leaders, and co-authoring research to help regional communities advocate for change.
She is a speaker, writer and facilitator who works in rooms where decisions are made, helping people and organisations move from intent to action.
