It's now clear that National Industry Skills Councils (ISCs) will be very powerful in influencing the new Federal government on training, skills
and workforce development decisions, including the priority areas for the promised Federal funding for 450,000 extra training places over the next four years.
There will be 20,000 new training places that are to become available in April and it's great to see that some of our region's skill shortage areas - health,
