Are you the Coffs Coast Business Woman of the Year?

Two of Coffs Coast’s leading business networks have come together to recognise and celebrate the achievements of local business women.

The Coffs Coast Business Women’s Network (BWN) and Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to introduce the inaugural BWN Coffs Coast Business Woman of Year Award at the 2010 Sunny Business Awards.“Our mission is to nurture the professional and personal development of women through an informative, social and supportive networking environment” said Ms Ruth Gollan, President of Coffs Coast Business Women’s Network

“There are so many wonderful women in our network, we decided to extend this support and approach the Chamber late last year to propose a new award category as part of the annual Sunny Awards. It is a win - win for the business networking community and small business owners in the region. The awards themselves are a great way to showcase your business and employees” said Ms Gollan.

Open to all business women on the Coffs Coast, this year’s inaugural Business Woman of the Year Award is sponsored by long time BWN supporter Unreal Real Estate and is aimed at celebrating the achievements of an inspiring business woman and their important contribution to business through innovation, leadership or entrepreneurial spirit.

The Sunny Awards night is a ‘must do’ annual networking event that celebrates the success of Coffs Harbour businesses. With submissions extended to 6th August 2010 it is not too late to get your application in for one of the many awards on offer this year.

Nominations must to be submitted to the Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce by 6th August 2010

The awards will be presented at a dinner on September 18 at the C.ex Coffs.
