The Coffs Coast Business Womens Network was initiated in 2004 to meet the needs of the local business community. Since that time it has grown to a database of over a thousand email subscribers and over 100 guests at our monthly events.
Our mission is simple:
To nurture the professional and personal development of women through an informative, supportive and fun networking environment.
We are a not-for-profit Incorporated Association operated entirely on voluntary basis. Any surplus revenue is invested back into the local community.
As network we have raised over $20,000 for the local community through:
- Percentage ticket sales
- Regular raffles – prizes kindly donated by our members & sponsors.
- Direct donations
Our local charities include:
- Coffs Coast Autism Association
- Titivators – cancer support
- Coffs Harbour Cancer Council
- Warrina Womens’ Refuge
If you are a Member of BWN and would like to host a raffle for you favourite charity at one of our events please contact us via email -

The Coffs Coast Business Womens Network’s (CCBWN) key objectives are:
- To lift the level of awareness, acceptance and visibility of women and the talents and resources they have to offer the economy.
- To provide a forum for like-minded individuals to share information, ideas and knowledge and bring about positive change.
- To learn from and motivate each other by fostering an environment where positive influences are the norm and the word ‘can’t’ is not part of the vocabulary used.
- To create a non-critical gathering place for all members in which to support, encourage and challenge one another to achieve beyond their own expectations in all aspects of life.
Our Code of Ethics
An organisation's reputation for ethical practices is one of its most valued assets. This reputation is achieved through the efforts of all its members (& guests) and their avoidance of any activity that might reflect unfavourably on their own or the organisation's integrity and good name.
The following principles are applied by the CCBWN members and guests when attending CCBWN events and /or carrying out activities associated with the CCBWN:
- We do not use hard-sell tactics on any member or guest of the organisation.
- We keep the membership list and directory private and confidential.
- We will follow up on contacts courteously, with integrity and in a non-threatening manner.
- We will support others through referrals, advice and information.
- We will use the network to build relationships, make friends and build trust with other me
